Partner Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By connecting your restaurant or venue to the StoryTrip platform via Instagram Business Account, you agree to be bound by these Partner Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use this Service or create coupons through our platform.
2. Description of Service
StoryTrip is a partner platform for restaurants and venues. By connecting your Instagram Business Account, you authorize StoryTrip to:
- Receive automated notifications when tourists tag your venue in Instagram Stories
- Manage and activate reward coupons for tourists who mention you
- Track coupon redemptions and customer engagement through your partner dashboard
3. Partner Responsibilities
As a partner restaurant or venue, you agree to:
- Provide accurate business and venue information
- Own or have authorization to manage the Instagram Business Account you connect
- Honor all coupons and rewards you create within the platform
- Not use the Service to spam, defraud tourists, or violate Instagram's policies
- Not attempt to gain unauthorized access or manipulate the booking/redemption system
- Maintain confidentiality of your admin credentials and disconnect immediately if compromised
4. Instagram Integration
StoryTrip integrates with Instagram through official Meta APIs. By connecting your Instagram Business Account, you authorize StoryTrip to:
- Receive notifications when your account is mentioned in Instagram Stories
- Access your public business account information (username, account ID)
- Look up the public profile of a guest who mentioned you, so we can match the mention to the reward they claimed and show you who mentioned you
- Deliver the reply you write by hand in the Partner Cabinet to the guest who mentioned you — one reply per mention, inside the standard 24-hour window of Instagram
Every reply answers a message the guest sent first. StoryTrip will NOT:
- Post content on your behalf
- Start a conversation, or send bulk or promotional messages
- Reply automatically — the venue writes each reply
- Access your password
- Follow accounts or like posts
Your use of Instagram features is also governed by Instagram's Platform Policy.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the StoryTrip Service (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, and data) are owned by StoryTrip or its content suppliers and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
6. Partner Content & Venue Information
You retain all rights to venue photos, menu items, and descriptions you upload. By providing this content to StoryTrip, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display this information to tourists and use it for platform promotion. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and share all content.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StoryTrip is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. StoryTrip shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.
8. Coupon & Reward Obligations
As a partner, you are fully responsible for:
- Honoring all coupons you create in the platform — StoryTrip does not guarantee coupon redemption
- Ensuring coupons comply with your business policies, local laws, and Instagram brand guidelines
- Training your staff to scan and validate coupons correctly
- Managing coupon inventory and expiration dates
- Resolving disputes directly with tourists regarding coupon use or quality of service
StoryTrip is not liable for disputes between you and tourists, or for tourists misusing coupons.
9. Data Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. StoryTrip will never sell or share personal data with third parties except as necessary to operate the Service.
10. Termination
StoryTrip reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice or liability. You may disconnect your Instagram account at any time through your Instagram settings — this automatically triggers deletion of your Instagram-linked data; see our Privacy Policy for details.
11. Changes to Terms
StoryTrip may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Montenegro and the European Union, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
