Data Deletion Instructions

Option 1 — Remove the app from Instagram (automatic)

1. Open Instagram → Settings → Apps and Websites.
2. Find StoryTrip in the list of connected apps.
3. Tap Remove. This automatically sends a secure, signed request to our server, which deletes your account ID and access token within minutes, immediately cutting off our access to your Instagram account. Story-mention and coupon-verification records tied to your venue are kept as a business record — use Option 2 below if you'd like those deleted too.

Option 2 — Email us directly (manual)

Email hello@storytrip.app from the address or Instagram handle associated with your partner account, with the subject "Data deletion request".

Once we verify the request, we will permanently delete the following data associated with your account within 48 hours:

• Instagram account ID, username, and profile picture
• Stored access tokens
• Story-mention and coupon-verification history linked to your venue
